To Hell with #Police Reform, A new Computer Algorithm May Prevent Police Violence

Remember my post recently calling for #Police Reform that includes Rebranding and changing their Look? http://renaldocmckenzie.blogspot.com/2020/06/police-reform-must-include-rebranding.html  Well, we have yet to see that materialize. Instead while doing my daily news read I saw a tweet on @Twitter with the heading “Can a New Algorithm Prevent Police Brutality? Minneapolis Wants to Find Out”:

Absolutely Not, if what you’re thinking is to use some computer-based system to identify bad #cops. Algorithm to identify bad cops...LOL, like those dam “Lie Detectors” or Psychology Tests that people can cheat and beat and never accurate most of the time. People are either inherently good or bad and any person can be bad at any given time... Jesus knows that, that’s why he had to die so that we use his righteousness and not ours. What we need is for #cops to always wear body CAM. And for there to be an independent body that polices the police and for harsher penalties for police when they break or violate the laws. The #cops should not feel safe to racially profile blacks or to get away with violence or criminality in executing their duties to serve and protect. They should not feel that they can hide behind the law when they are lawless. So, MN don’t waste money with that stupid algorithm. And what about building on community and police relations in these communities through expanding community policing and creating a space for dialogue between police and community at the local and federal levels. We need a conversation and dialogue, as for right now there’s tensions between police and black neighborhoods. Deal with the hurt and the pain first and explore ways to heal before you talk about computers to fix a human issue that is deeply beyond the scope of an algorithm.

Breaking: Russian military shot dead 51-year-old US Correspondent, Brent Renaud in Irpen

Kyiv Region Police Chief Andriy Nebytov said that the Russian military had shot dead 51-year-old The New York Times correspondent Brent Renaud in Irpen.  Another journalist was injured and is currently in Okhmatdyt Hospital.  According to open sources, Brent Renaud was a photojournalist and director, making many documentaries with his brother.  The publication itself has not yet confirmed the death of its correspondent. Police Reform in #America Must include Rebranding the Police ...Change their “LOOK”

#PoliceReform Must also include rebranding the #PoliceForce; changing their anti friendly countenance, stance, color,  clothes and updating their car. Their “LOOK” needs to become more customer or #CommunityService Friendly. Moral Authority is a currency that has lost value for Law Enforcement and when a currency looses its value it must change, the state must intervene just as the Federal Reserve Bank intervenes to protect its monetary value of its currency in this case the state needs to constantly intervene in the currency of its law enforcement. President Zelenskyy of Ukraine submitted an update regarding the War: The main points of his message in the video: 1. He calls for a “NO—FLY—ZONE” in the region, and stated that 74 percent of Americans support the no-fly-zone. Yet we have not approved the request, a decision that will help significantly, Ukraine’s advantage in the war.  2. The Armed forces of Ukraine hold all areas of defence and are counterattacking Russian invaders near: Kharkiv, and holding the line in Maykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv region, Sumy region and Dobas.  3. We (Ukraine) inflicted damages on the Invaders; the Russian Army has not reached planned frontiers and ten thousand (10, 000) Russian Soldiers many of whom are 18 - 20 years old were killed.  4.
