In an attempt to squash protesters efforts marching against police violence on black lives. Anti-demonstrators brandishing Trump memorabilia, placards and weapons intimidated and taunted protesters in Portland Oregon. This resembles what happened in Kenosha Wisconsin when KyleRittenhouse, a white 17 year old boy, intimidated demonstrators with his AR-15 Rifle which resulted in the crowd retaliating out of fear of their lives and he shooting killing 2 and injuring 2.   But what was different and telling here in Portland yesterday was that it was an anti-demonstrator who was there to intimidate taunt and attack protesters who actually got killed. He and his far-right friends attacked demonstrators with mace and paint ball and deadly force and somehow one of them got hit. I do not celebrate his demise, nor do I condone Kyle or police brutality on black lives; But this begs the question, could this be karma? NBA players decided not to play last night thereby creating huge opportunities for RNC2020 viewership. But, how does boycotting the @NBA games affect #police vigilante shootings of #blackmen. This is so premature and an ineffective solution that is reactive and soft and only affects the players, the nba and black and black friendly fans ultimately. Think about it, what does this do but result into millions of dollars lost and loss of therapy-opportunity. Police Officers must always be pulled off duty & undergo intense interrogation whenever they use force that involves using a lethal weapon to take out anyone; even if they maybe wrong or right. They must never assume that it is ok to use force without having to provide detailed records and succumb to scrutiny as a deterrence to police brutality and lawlessness and violence.  Get the police off the streets is not a call for lawlessness and disorder, but a call for law and order within our force so that there’s justice and fairness for all. Police Reform must include triggers that requires the police to always use bodycam and allow the filming of police activities. Police Reform should demand briefings and stringent unbiased investigations lead by a new independent body or the FBI. If the police are deemed as cleared then they can go back on duty. #jacobblake deserves to be shot in the back and paralyzed like a common criminal. The police were justified in their actions when several heavily armed police gun down Blake who had the upper hand. It was a dangerous and violent scene and situation where people’s lives were endangered including the cops. When the Jamaican Govt. such as Hon. Michael Manley wanted to inject money in Jamaican economy so that it undergoes economic growth and development through infrastructural development, education and manufacturing, they were blocked by the IMF.  They negotiated a deal that did not benefit jamaica but made jamaica into a “dependency” and a country of debt. Jamaicans only work to pay debts to the IMF.  Jamaicans hands were tied in terms of how to use borrowed money on lucrative local developments. The lenders had other ideas so that Manley and other leaders could only do so much.  So we expect money to be used for its intent yet Jamaican govts are not the ones to decide how monies are spent really. Unless Jamaicans can find other means or become better negotiators or find other lenders who will not redetermine plans, intended monies for programs like making education free will never happen!
