Faith, Science and " Reason": How to Approach the Creation Story Part 2
To follow up a previous note or to make clearer the idea of the reality of God and his creation. It's to be understood and broken down by the reader seeking truth about the reality of what is... There's the worship of Science as an elevated method and greater alternative to Faith, yet Science or Darwinism is neither objective or valid in themselves especially "their" understanding of things "ultimate". We must believe in a "Big Bang" that makes little sense to reality as it is; vis-a-vis a creation story and historical experiences lived that has continued meaning to reality as it is today to those who find it relevant.
Ultimately, I stand face-to-face with the apologized and logical reason and am convicted, convinced and therefore believe that "God is Real" and "he is behind all things"... (See Col. 1:17, 18). Existence, as is, testifies of this conviction and truth.... To deny this is a practice of futility and rebellion against what we have already known, believe and feel. It is as Descartes truth discovery (Eureka moment) - arrival of his existence that this makes sense... "Cogito ergo sum" I think therefore I am. So if I say there is no God, I am saying what I sense and feel is what I'm denying; and am denying or rebelling against that thing that stands against and before me. I go out of my way to deny or prove unreal what I say is unreal. To say there is no God is to say there is a God that is not.
Science was created to replace religion or faith so as to delve into matters that faith has opposed. Evolution, still a theory contradicts itself and is a lifeless purposeless tenet of Atheism which itself is lifeless and purposeless. To believe there is no God is to believe nonetheless. Atheism is a statement of faith. But that faith takes you where.... Nowhere.
