The Economy: Unemployment, Inequality and the Small Business incentives act
Is there a conspiracy to diffuse the working class labor power in countries? I noticed a trend: Over the past decades, workers' unions have declined while unequal distribution of incomes have risen (salaries and wages have declined for the middle stratum and risen for those at the top). Tax the rich, reinvent labor unions, fuel small-business growth, the main engines for job creation.
Recently, President Obama signed the long overdue Small Business Incentive Act.This is a well needed incentive to promote small business growth, thereby creating jobs for the unemployed and a step towards cutting income inequality.
Critics are saying that the small business Act will not be enough to move the economy forward as these businesses need customers which is at issue. But this argument is myopic; it fails to see the rippling and far-reaching effects of this bill (though limited): that patrons don't have money to shop because they don't have jobs. If small business create 500,000 new jobs with these new benefits, then simultaneously they create for themselves and others more customers.
