According to Stephen A Smith, Sports Commentator and host of First Take on ESPN, “  I’m very happy KYRIE will be on the basketball court…but he’s no Hero.” See video above.  I responded in a tweet to Mr. Smith saying “Absolutely I agree, but up to a certain point. KyrieIrving can now play is good for the BrooklynNets and the NBA; and NYC took way too long to lift the mandate. Russian and Ukrainian negotiators continue to negotiate in Turkey. Russia wants Ukraine to withdraw its intensions of joining NATO. Ukraine has rejected that proposal, and rightly so; I’ll explain.   Russia does not want Ukraine to join NATO, because Putin believes that this is a strategy by the West to penetrate and have access. Kyiv Region Police Chief Andriy Nebytov said that the Russian military had shot dead 51-year-old The New York Times correspondent Brent Renaud in Irpen.  Another journalist was injured and is currently in Okhmatdyt Hospital.  According to open sources, Brent Renaud was a photojournalist and director, making many documentaries with his brother.  The publication itself has not yet confirmed the death of its correspondent. I published an article and a Podcast Episode On Spotify  and  Anchor   yesterday summarizing and echoing Zelenzkyy’s main message: “ Zelenskyy: It’s Day 18. We Hold Key Positions. Close The Skies. I posted the article and the video message with the above mentioned title on a discussion group  Reddit Discussion Group Re No-fly-zone   and we are having an intense discussion about Zelenzkyy’s constant calls for a No—Fly—Zone. The usual objection to the this is the fear of WW3 or a bigger war than what we already have in Ukraine. While that fear maybe understandable, one cannot cower to fear and intimidation, by allowing abuse, extremism and human massacre.  But, let me tell you why Zelenzkyy  constantly calls for one and why it is justified or reasonable in addition to the reasons we have already suggested previously in a blog on this site and our podcast  Is The World Really United With Ukraine?   Let me tell you why:

I posted a Video on YouTube showing the aftermath of Russian bombs today that had rained down on Mariupol destroying a peaceful civilian neighbourhood filled with people. The caption read: Close the Skies! I shared this on my Reddit feed:  Link to the Feed Someone replied cursing me and using foul language:  “Shut the fuck up about closing the skies. I replied: “Take that same anger and boldness and direct it at Putin and use that same “do not care” attitude to abandon fear and CLOSE THE SKIES! Yet you are here coiling under the fear of Putin. According to President Zelenskyy: 500 kg Russian bomb rained down on a Mariupol Maternal Hospital,  Killing 3 and wounding 17 people. And A decision to finally secure Sky over Ukraine imminent, thanks to people over the world who lobbied their western and European leaders.  In fact, Kamala Harris just reported that the US delivered Patriot Missiles to Ukraine. This is an indication that Ukraines has taken a step further towards protecting its airspace.  We will continue to watch this developing story. Russians have mixed feelings about the war in Ukraine. Some of the feelings stems from a propaganda campaign from the Kremlin where they have filtered out and manipulated the news so that Russians do not have any control over the news coming in. The video above indicates that Putin has tremendous hild over his people since he controls the narrative in that country. External and independent news sources are all but wiped out by the Kremlin  The respondents in the video stated several reasons why they are for or against or neutral about the war: 1. No Idea, 2. Don’t Care, 3. It’s necessary: Putin is Denazifying #ukraine/salvation mission, 4. Against the War, 5. Putin Knows what’s best, 6.Not feeling Sanctions but several stores closed and some drop in income … see the video above.  Now as it relates to Putin being a saviour.
