My freedom of expressions versus yours... And then
Dino A Mancari criticized me on Facebook saying I’ve gotten better at looking bad.

Renaldo C. Mckenzie He really doesn't need any help with looking bad. He's gotten better at that. 😂 |
See my response....
My bad look to you is subjective and relative to you. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. And you lack the ability to make sound judgements so your criticism is futile...What looks bad my thoughts and blogs renaldocmckenzie.blogger.com about loving one another and forgiveness. Belief in human dignity and going beyond self and ideologies to help one another and the oppressed. Is that what is bad? Or my Beautiful Black Body and mind that I simply adore and at times celebrate and share.

Haha... Do they offend you guys? Is it obscene? Do they affect your ideas of what is aesthetically right and wrong? Should we limit our freedom of expression to acquiesce to the 'right' and their values? Should I embrace my proclivity to seek my comforts and happiness through an art form that does not necessarily undermine or offend in so far as it conflicts with their values or transcends aesthetics into the ugly. Are we so concerned with other persons myopic and conservative feelings that we miss or short-change ours so that we become the victims of robbery or theft? Yes we allow what others think to steal our expressions and happiness. We try to live their life. But can I live mine without deliberately offending them? Can I in the diagetics of my world and life express that which is me without abusing you and without you abusing me. Should I live for them?
Note: Patagonia is halting its Facebook ads, joining a boycott led by civil rights groups and progressive activists to protest Facebook's approach to content moderation and hate speech on the platform.
"For too long, Facebook has failed to take sufficient steps to stop the spread of hateful lies and dangerous propaganda on its platform," Patagonia's head of marketing, Cory Bayers, said in a series of tweets Sunday.
I disagree: If speech is free then hate speech is free. where’s there’s a heaven there’s a hell. where’s there God, there’s Satan. #Facebook has a right to allow speech. It is we who must use the medium to push back. My freedom of expressions versus yours... http://renaldocmckenzie.blogspot.com/2020/06/my-freedom-of-expressions-versus-yours.html
