What We See... A Matter Of Perspective

After writing a blog about the dangers of assumptions and posted the title and link to it on several social media feeds, View Blog Here
I had several responses rebuking the story and drawing all kinds of conclusions. One in particular was noteworthy and my reply worth blogging about. Because here I was warning against holding onto assumptions, and we have an assumptive reply of negativity and pissimism.

This one writer said:
“I only see a story that is building conflict and hatred there is a time and place for everything and this is not the place

I responded: “I only see...” or is that what one only wants to see when there’s a story of limiting things to one individualistic view. There goes the problem of humanity already highlighted by this story of how we limit our minds to only one possibility especially the negative one.

In fact, I don’t see conflict I see opportunity. It is a matter of perspective and having the right perspective will determine the outcome of most situations. There are always opportunities to learn and grow from every situation and each provides a basis to inspect and to reflect. Lend oneself to a deeper perspective by going deeper and looking beyond the negative and find that sweet spot in that bitter wine of truth and life.
