‪ “People do not like to wake up every day and be told that they should be ashamed of who they are”. Yet we brandish abroad, defend and protect the very symbols of hate, pain, slavery and abuse. 

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted today that:

However, #BlackPeople wake up everyday and are reminded of their shameful past by those symbols & ceremonies we brandish abroad. Some wake up everyday bearing scars of slavery, discrimination and systemic abuse. Blackpeople wake up everyday & go to bed still in the struggle. People are uneasy because they can’t face the truth of their hypocrisy, conspiracy and SIN. Yet they want to defend it and memorialize it at their brothers expense who bear the hurt and pain. How insensitive. You don’t want to be reminded of your evil, but black people must be reminded of their victimization ... their abuse by the very “shameful”things you defend and protect as “culture”. But I must hasten to say that “ By tearing down the symbols of hurt, you heal”.

Breaking: Russian military shot dead 51-year-old US Correspondent, Brent Renaud in Irpen

Kyiv Region Police Chief Andriy Nebytov said that the Russian military had shot dead 51-year-old The New York Times correspondent Brent Renaud in Irpen.  Another journalist was injured and is currently in Okhmatdyt Hospital.  According to open sources, Brent Renaud was a photojournalist and director, making many documentaries with his brother.  The publication itself has not yet confirmed the death of its correspondent. President Zelenskyy of Ukraine submitted an update regarding the War: The main points of his message in the video: 1. He calls for a “NO—FLY—ZONE” in the region, and stated that 74 percent of Americans support the no-fly-zone. Yet we have not approved the request, a decision that will help significantly, Ukraine’s advantage in the war.  2. The Armed forces of Ukraine hold all areas of defence and are counterattacking Russian invaders near: Kharkiv, and holding the line in Maykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv region, Sumy region and Dobas.  3. What is the ultimate of all things? That we become one with reality and with humanity in all of our individuality. A man said “Once you label me, you negate me” (Kierkegaard). I ndeed,  culture of categories, groups and labels minimize, mitigate and or manage change.  Change is not possible when the people are divided. This “Divide” put people against each other. So that, those in “Power” can remain... panning to their “divide” in effect forming a shield of defense that protect their resolve against those on the other side of the “divide”.  Thereby, solidifying their Power and perpetuating the issues that bind and create strife.
