Jamaicans bewildered as media and Dems “plays up” Kamla’s Asian heritage only...

#Jamaicans are celebrating Joe Biden’s VP pick, Kamla Harris, because they say that she is of Jamaican heritage, her father Prof. Donald Harris is Jamaican and a naturalized citizen of the US. But Kamla, the Dems and the media are not even mentioning her Jamaican heritage. This is the caption - 

“Kamla Harris first Woman of Asian immigrants to be VP candidate”.

CNN had this to say: “Harris and Biden appeared together for the first time in Delaware, the day after Biden chose the California Democrat as his running mate, making history as the first Black woman and first person of Indian descent to join a major political party's ticket”.

I mean isn’t her father Jamaican? So how do they get Asian only. It is because they’re appealing to the Asian voting bloc they are more important to the DEMS than Jamaicans as they provide greater voting numbers. So don’t be a tool or slave to identity politics. It finds a friend in a foe as needed. 

Adam sheer in refutation of my comments asked: “where are you getting these stuff”?

I clarified my reply to Adam saying:

Adam B. Sherr what stuff, Jamaicans know what I’m talking about... don’t be too quick to think you can get something out of this pick. And don’t think that her Jamaicanness is what’s important. It’s the part that makes her viable a democratic candidate... black, woman and Indian/Asian. That’s the point.

And Milton walker said ... what she said about her family is more important than what the media said. Did you not hear she mentioned her father and mother's countries of birth today when she was addressing the nation on television? That is what is important. She is selling herself to the American people as the daughter of immigrant parents of 2 countries that she named.  

I replied:

Milton Francis ok but thats not the point here. It’s a political or socio political one what stuff, don’t be too quick to think you can get something out of this pick. And don’t think that her Jamaicanness is what’s important. It’s the part that makes her viable a Democratic candidate...black, woman and Indian/Asian. Which is all that she is an appeal to a particular bloc that does not need convincing. That’s the point. Mark my words, this pick will mean “No new friends, and  no new votes” for Biden. 

Darrel rebutted saying:I’m going to wager that your base of friends have the level of intelligence to know that your posts are riddled with misinformation and flat untruthful spread. Because of that, I pray enough of the ones you entrust the most check on you, probe some and determine what can those who care for you do to bring you back to reality from whatever traumas has caused your current stance of desire to begrudge what is good. I reponded:Darrell Brown words don’t scare me. I invite your challenge and please be brutal because I’m not GOD I can be wrong and am prone to error yet am I not human who is free to think freely as it is thinking freely that one may come to acceptable truth or an understanding but open ones mind to everything and explore the leadings of one mind but always be open to change and never hold ones ideas as definitive as what one think may prove to be or not ... Darrell Brown I have simply stated what I have noticed. If you disagree say why and we can then agree to disagree. I had said in 2016 that Hilary was a bad candidate and that she would loose. She did.
