Religion, Class And The Status Quo

Religion is the use of one created group of people in the world to exact hegemony over the world by ideologically creating and indoctrinating a structure of hierachy in society that reduces the level of power and comfort distributed among groups of people in the world.


However Rev. Michael Cain, Pastor of the Old First Reform UCC Church in Philadelphia differs saying “i think "society" finds there groups odds not in some broad-based rejection of their positions, but more of a confusion about why they are still religious at all or how one can be religious and pro-diversity, democracy, reason, science, openness and freedom. but that difficulty is just a result of how religion has so often been in the past, as you point out...”


I disagree as there's liberal Christians these days, iconoclasm is on the rise, anti radicals are now posturing a new kind of faith without hegemony or hierarchy. They embrace science, openness and freedoms. The society finds these groups to be odd.


Rev. Caine ponders the idea responding “unless the religious system is neither hierarchical or hegemonous”?

But in my opinion Religion seems to sell a structure of stratification in society where the God/s (upper class) gets all the praises (wealth) and the saints (middle and lower classes) share whats left (of the praises (wealth) accordingly among themselves according to their relation to the God/s knowing that all will someday become Gods (wealthy)


Religion is advocated by the status quo, the conservatives, Republican - those who accept the current distributive structure of society - and on the other hand, Irreligion and atheism would be supported by the radicals, iconoclasts, liberals, socialists, democrats - those who are opposed to the present structure for a more just and necessary society. 

Both views the status quo and the radical antithesis were created side by side, where one (Satan)seeks equality with the other (God) and one (God) crushes the other (Satan). The ruler Class/Upperclass, capitlaist or republicans, use force via their laws and weapons - the police and military - to push down and keep down the other classes or any class or idea (socialism liberalism) that demands or pursue equality.

Breaking: Russian military shot dead 51-year-old US Correspondent, Brent Renaud in Irpen

Kyiv Region Police Chief Andriy Nebytov said that the Russian military had shot dead 51-year-old The New York Times correspondent Brent Renaud in Irpen.  Another journalist was injured and is currently in Okhmatdyt Hospital.  According to open sources, Brent Renaud was a photojournalist and director, making many documentaries with his brother.  The publication itself has not yet confirmed the death of its correspondent. Their “LOOK” needs to become more customer or #CommunityService Friendly. Moral Authority is a currency that has lost value for Law Enforcement and when a currency looses its value it must change, the state must intervene just as the Federal Reserve Bank intervenes to protect its monetary value of its currency in this case the state needs to constantly intervene in the currency of its law enforcement. President Zelenskyy of Ukraine submitted an update regarding the War: The main points of his message in the video: 1. He calls for a “NO—FLY—ZONE” in the region, and stated that 74 percent of Americans support the no-fly-zone. Yet we have not approved the request, a decision that will help significantly, Ukraine’s advantage in the war.  2. The Armed forces of Ukraine hold all areas of defence and are counterattacking Russian invaders near: Kharkiv, and holding the line in Maykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv region, Sumy region and Dobas.  3. What is the ultimate of all things? That we become one with reality and with humanity in all of our individuality. A man said “Once you label me, you negate me” (Kierkegaard). I ndeed,  culture of categories, groups and labels minimize, mitigate and or manage change.  Change is not possible when the people are divided. This “Divide” put people against each other. So that, those in “Power” can remain... panning to their “divide” in effect forming a shield of defense that protect their resolve against those on the other side of the “divide”.  Thereby, solidifying their Power and perpetuating the issues that bind and create strife.
