The Office of The President is Immune Not the Person in the Office

The Office of the U.S. President is supposed to be pure and above reproach. It is free from immunity. The person who occupies the office is not the office. While the President, i.e. the office is immune from prosecution, the person who occupies it is not! You cannot claim immunity. In fact, because the office is above reproach, anyone who holds the office can be removed if he or she corrupts or abuse its power and purity. Mr. Donald J. Trump cannot claim immunity from prosecution because he held the office or is in the office. No one can commit crimes and used the presidency as coverage as that is antithetical to the office. Such a person cannot continue to hold the office and must be removed to protect the office from impunity. Moreover, we have laws that protect against abuse of power by human beings who are prone to doing so.

Section 3 of the 14th amendment was established to prevent against such abuses. But now those in power want to revoke the laws in place that protects the office and American democracy. Many are upset over Mr. John Anthony Castro lawsuit Castro V Trump and believe he is an opportunist. However, his efforts are warranted and needed to continue to protect American democracy and to hold leaders accountable and to prevent abuses and corruption of American institutions.

For the people to disregard the laws and constitution to promote someone who has violated them, is akin to the #GraecoRoman world saying give us #Barabas (the criminal) but away with #Jesus. It is the conscience of man highlighting our human nature, and "The Fall of Man".
