A Review Of Neoliberal Globalization Reconsidered by Renaldo McKenzie Ft. Prof. Emeritus Dr. Martin Oppenheimer
What is the difference between #Neoliberalism & #NeoCapitalism, if there's a difference? Secondly, is there any similarity between Neo-Capitalism and #PsuedoCommunism? Thirdly, is it fair to describe pseudo-communists as s a "#CultofMarxism"? Fourthly, what's the difference between #Russia & #China? Which American President compares closely with #SimonBolivar? I sat down with Professor Emeritus Dr. Martin Oppenheimer to review and discuss my upcoming Book, on which he's a Contributor, #NeoliberalGlobalizationReconsidered, which is the second edition to Neoliberalism, Globalization, Income Inequality, Poverty and Resistance.
These discussions here are academic and delve into global, geopolitical, social and social movements. They are also general and introduce the considerations we are reconsidering in this second volume. The dialogue on this episode will be published an article in The Neoliberal Post Pilot Project Academic Journal dubbed: Towards Developing a #CaribbeanThought Journal and will be available in The Neoliberal Corporation Publication at https://www.theneoliberal.com. Oppenheimer begins the episode with a quick critique on the editing errors and then debates with me on whether there's a difference between Neoliberalism and Neo-Capitalism. We concluded that they are different, yet Neoliberalism is a process of Neo-Capitalism called the "Bureaucratic Phenomenon" (See McKenzie, Renaldo, Neoliberalism... 2021). Further, we introduce the term/concept: Whenever there's a Black Rising there's a Backlash as a play upon words and cited examples of the black lash: The Burning of Black Wall Street in 1921 and later the Bombing of MOVE and a West Philadelphia street Osage on a peace mother's day while residents were asleep. In addition we talked about Russia and China as no longer part of the Global South with their level of development and explored where former Dependent Capitalist Countries are still Dependent such as in Mexico where they have achieved industrialization and have become modernized. Yet while China has eradicated abject poverty, many are still poor with high levels of poverty. Please Note: Students reading for the course Caribbean Thought at Jamaica Theological Seminary may benefit from the discussions here and may interact with the discourse as part of their learning.
