“What’s Life Like Living in Philadelphia,” Part 4, on The Neoliberal Round Podcast
"It's like Gotham city without Batman," that's what one Philly resident stated when we asked, "What's Life Like Living in Philadelphia?" Others, like the couple who recently moved from rural US thinks otherwise saying that it's fun and only hate the litter. That's what's on the episode today plus much more. On this episode of The Podcast, we continue the series on Living in Philadelphia where we take to the streets asking various individuals from different backgrounds and experiences to provide comments and to be interviewed on the spot. We have completed three parts already and this is part four. This episode is also very interesting and powerful as we obtained some insights that provided a deeper understanding into how people are thinking and ideas they have to resolving issues in their communities. Moreover, the episode morphed into a group discussion as Fe and Sasha Harvey joined in for a lengthy discussion on what's it like living in Philly and debated the cause of the violence and suggested ways we can fix it. Sasha Harvey is the author of "Birdman" and "Press". The Segment included students from the University of Penn, a couple who just moved to Philly from Michigan and West VA, a woman walking her dog who just moved from the suburbs to Philly city and two close relations of B-Dot, B-Dot was killed a few days ago and spoke on the show days before he was killed about "What's It Like Living In Philadelphia". We replay that interview at the end and provided some commentary and share the interview with B-Dot's best friend's mother/sibling. The trailer and Bonus episode to this episode, Part 4 of Living In Philly, is available in video podcast via the Spotify platform.
We will continue with Part 5 later this week of the series.
