President Biden Reverses Marijuana Policy, Pardons Prior Offenses, How will Jamaica Respond if any at all?
So this leads to the question, how will the caribbean like Jamaica respond and interpret this as they think about their marijuana laws and the incarcerations that had stemmed from US pressure and leadership on incarcerations and the illegality of marijuana. Will they or continue on as usual?
In retrospect, after freedoms and independence were gifted to newly independent countries many inherited and continued colonial laws & policies that their former masters have transcended. Further, these countries adopted theologies and philosophies that weaken any competitive advantage they can have; much to the chagrin of their former masters.
