This is a true story about overcoming the challenges of life. Alexis sat with us and shared a few pages of her upcoming book which is a true story about her young life. She talked about how she grew up in a violent home in the projects of #Philadelphia where she and her siblings witnessed the constant violence between their mom and dad. She revealed how she was also molested by a family member and later locked up and while incarcerated developed an interest in art, music, and writing which she honed. She is out of prison and working on several projects. The interview was done in audio with Donte Nelson, Co-Producer, and Renaldo McKenzie, Host and Producer in studios at The NeoLiberal Corporation. This theory posits that individuals are more likely to engage in criminal activities when they perceive significant disparities between their economic situation and that of others in society.   #newsupdate : I recently reposted Mr. Greg Goldman's comment about #homelessness in #Philadelphia decreasing. However, this may not be the case and we interviewed #DavidFair of @TP4C last year indicating the crisis in #Philly regarding homelessness especially among young people. So, we @theneoliberco were intrigued by this report so quickly after hearing that homelessness is worsening. But, recent information we obtained may cause us to update this story as my initial follow-up with #ProjectHome on the issue based on conversations today with a Manager there is indicating that #homelessness in #Philadelphia is actually increasing and that the report cited about the reduction is not accurate; it uses a #methodology that does not take into consideration all factors and experiences of homelessness. On this special podcast production on Haiti, my discussions with R, revealed that Haitians are not opposed to a foreign intervention force, but calls for one that does not support the current leadership and allows for the restoration of democracy where Haitians are free to express themselves, and challenge their governments without the fear of retaliation and the ability to vote for credible and erudite new leadership.
