Question : Why do some universities offer elective courses called SOPHIA where completing them doesn't affect a student's GPA, only their overall credits? This seems unfair and like a money-making scheme for schools that are supposed to be nonprofit. The Department of Education may need to investigate colleges like Capella University. Universities should rethink their policies on grading for courses that require the same effort and learning, regardless of whether they're paid or free. Apparently, the blackout had stemmed from a hack that Meta, and Facebook, and Instagram systems had detected and initiated a #shutdown to prevent any #security breach which was a good thing and a necessary mechanism. Part of #SPAM and #cybersecurity involves detection and prevention so the system will even shut down temporarily to stop hackers from intruding. However, the fact that this keeps happening means that FACEBOOK is always under attack from #hackers trying to get onto its system.
