Politics And Theology: The Raids on Donald Trump’s Residence, John A Castro Suit And Teaching Theology

Question: Where ever did those extra hundreds of boxes found in the most recent #FBI raids at #Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate come from? If in January they had raided and indicated there were no more boxes or document left, why did they find all these volumes? Were they in hiding? I delve into this in the first segment of this episode. In the second segment I provided an audio commentary that Mr. ➤ John Anthony Castro had sent regarding a question I had asked about the Trump raids and his recent filing in D.C. in federal court against #donaldtrump and the #FEC saying that Donald Trump is ineligible to run as President and should not be allowed to run based on his alleged involvement in the January 6 #insurrection. He shares a timeline and some expectations surrounding what next for the filing. In the final segment, I explored the issue of teaching #theology today as a follow up to the previous episode (season 4:4) on Teaching Theology Today. I explain that teaching is not about indoc...

And there are those like Michael Moore who can afford to give up their US citizenship but most are not as privileged to do so.

The New York Post said that Michael Moore “vows to give up his ‘privileges’ of US citizenship…” (@nypost via Twitter — see the NY Post article here  https://nypost.com/2022/07/05/michael-moore-pens-woke-independence-day-declaration/ ). ‪This is Nonesense! Doesn’t he still have his #whiteprivilege after he gives up his so-called privilege of #uscitizenship? That trumps all privileges. And maybe he should instead use the power that comes with his US citizenship privilege to undo the practice of (white) privilege. ‬In order to help fight to end slavery, the abolitionists did not abandon their fealty or esteemed positions, but used it cleverly to support the emancipation of slavery—A practice that was ambivalent to their declared independence that all men are made equal, free and have the rights to life, self government, independence pursuit of happiness and rights to life. But for Moore, his rant and threats to give up his us citizenship stems from his anger surrounding the conservati...

The Neoliberal Round Podcast: Power Poses Problems For Progress

season 3 Episode 3 Power Poses Problems For Progress. That's the theme of the #podcast episode that I didn't get a chance to post yesterday for various reasons. Now this episode looks at how #Power uses the #strategy of #digitaltechnologies to thwart #competition.  The NeoLiberal Corporation www.theneoliberal.com is experiencing that reality as it re-launches itself as a #thinktank, #newscommentary, social and #digitalmedia, #publishing, research and #webservices company that is #grassroots dynamic and provides a #platform for #diversity and #individuality so as to serve the world today to solve tomorrow’s challenges. This episode has two segments. Segment one looks at Power in terms of how the #statusquo or powerbrokers are using #technology to #block competition. The second segment is a #Bonus segment where I share a real-life challenge and a story from involving our #LinkedIn and the issue of #twofactorauthentication and #security. The Neoliberal Round Podcast: Street Vibes: Pulse of the Street: Interview with Shekhems of Ausar Auset Society on Kamitic Culture

The Neoliberal Round Podcast, Season 3 Episode 4 You do not want to miss a second of this episode; it was quite interesting and revealing. Today on The Neoliberal Round Podcast we present another “Street Vibes: Pulse of the Street” where we stumbled on an amazing group called the “Ausar Auset Society” followers and teachers of Kamitic Spirituality and Culture. The interviews were quite revealing and we also learned about Bamba Ra aka Sha’Heed Muhammad who recently died and is being celebrated as an iconic black revolutionary from Philadelphia who graduated from Howard University and was involved in the Student Non-violent Action Coordinating Committee (SNCC), The Revolutionary Action Movement and the Nation of Islam; and was a frequent contributor to the Journal of Black Poetry. Importantly I raise a concern at the beginning of the episode as a preface saying that I do a compulsory course at Georgetown University as part of the Doctoral Studies Program in Liberal Studies where w...
